One wouldn’t expect physics and creative writing to pair so well, yet L. B. Larson’s passion for words and the stars finds harmony in both. Her work as an aerospace engineer inspires the starstruck wonder she imparts to her science fiction and fantasy stories. When not writing or testing hardware, she can be found exploring the mountains of Colorado and sorting her expansive hoard of dice (she owns over 300 of them).

Pike’s Peak Writer’s Conference 2025
Attended the Pike’s Peak 2025 writer’s conference. This was L. B. Larson’s first writing conference experience. Amid the flurry of networking and note-taking, she became a volunteer “instant editor” for the entirety of the Instant Slushpile event, where she gave feedback on 20 different works (while in starfleet uniform).
